I had a cozy stay at The Black Horse Inn for one night. The location is convenient, great for exploring the surrounding area. The room offered comfortable beds and a lovely decor, perfect for winding down. the check-in process felt rushed and they charged extra fees for my dog, which I didn't expect. The food in the pub was delicious, especially the breakfast spread. I appreciated the dog-friendly environment, with ample outdoor space for my pup to enjoy. On the downside, I noticed a lack of staff attention at times, especially during busy meal services. this place has charming aspects but definitely needs to streamline operations for a smoother guest experience.

The accommodation features a lovely location that’s both beautiful and convenient for nearby attractions. Mornings are delightful with a delicious, freshly cooked breakfast, complemented by the warm hospitality from the staff. the room was smaller than expected, feeling somewhat cramped, and the lack of a shower curtain raised concerns about privacy and potential water damage. the dining experience was enjoyable, but the prices for evening meals felt a bit steep.

Had an awesome time with my friends at this quaint pub! We loved hiking in the beautiful Kent Downs and exploring Leeds Castle nearby. Our rooms were spacious, and the food was incredible, especially the breakfast. Book a table for dinner—it’s so worth it! Friendly staff made our stay enjoyable.
One of my friends got a bit surprised when a picture fell off the wall since it wasn't attached properly. Luckily, it was a minor issue and didn't ruin our trip.

We had a cozy family room. It was clean and had character, which was nice. The shower and sink were modern and worked well. The decor felt charming and rustic. It was a bit remote, which added to the peaceful vibe. The dog-friendly touches were a big plus for pet owners. The parking was easy, and the room itself was comfortable after a long drive. Definitely a good spot if you're looking for something different from a standard hotel setup.

good atmosphere but lacks attention
The environment maintained a cozy pub vibe yet lacked vibrancy during the evening. The fish and chips were satisfactory and provided a decent late-night option.
The pub seemed empty at night, leading to a disconnect in service.
