Reasonably good and attentive personnel who offered top service, everything was nice. The location was lovely for Maidstone, not far from the tunnel, the beautiful pub/restaurant where the food was amazing and a lovely old pub which was really clean. Also, it was 10 min drive from Bearsted Golf Club.

The Black Horse Inn was situated in a lovely area not to far from the motorway. On booking the room the hotel staff contacted me to see if I wanted to reserve a table for dinner as they get busy. This was a nice touch. We only had time for a quick bite to eat in the pub, but we wished we were staying for a full meal. The food looked great.
Although the rooms were clean, the bed we had wasn't particularly comfortable. On Sunday morning we had trouble with shower due to low water pressure. It spluttered into life after 5 minutes or so, but it wasn't the sort of shower you wanted to stay in for long. We mentioned this to the lady on reception but she shrugged it off.

Great countryside setting just a short drive from the tunnel 🌳. Booked a room here for a good night's sleep.

Unpretentious, friendly gastro pub serving great real ale and an excellent holiday base in a quiet backwater surrounded by traditional Kent countryside, convenient for Leeds Castle.

The people were verry friendly. In general the food was delicious, booking a table is absolutly required. The restaurant was every night fully booked. The rooms were nice and we could park the car straight in front of the room.
The rooms were a little noisy. The WiFi was, if availabel, slow. There was not much choice for vegetarian food

The venue is cool and comfortable with courteous staff. En suite room, exceptionally comfortable bed, good size bathroom. Location right by the outskirts of hectic Maidstone as well as pub. Not far from a 12th-century flint-built castle.

Our room was fantastic! the king-size bed was super comfy 🛏️, and we had the best, thickest towels ever! There was plenty of storage space for our clothes, too.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything. The rooms are large. Clean and cute; the food is excellent and so is the staff.
It is very difficult to find because it is off a very tiny Lane, where the pilgrims used to go on pilgrimages to Canterbury It is charming, but somewhat hidden. Get good directions. It is worth the ride.
